The departure of The Super Soakers is a sad one: there are a lot of garagerock bands in the Netherlands, but something was different about this four-piece from Boxmeer. Their fun attitude and stage presence, catchy songs, witty lyrics and the DIY approach to their artwork made the band likeable. They don't leave you with empty hands though: this cassette proves for the last time that the band was a great thing to behold live. Sounding effortless, but keeping your attention all times. The Super Soakers are dead, long live The Super Soakers.
